On Saturday, 3 August 2019, the young people of Lincoln Estate Congregation, accompanied by their
Rector, Priest Andre Poole and Priest Brian Patterson, reached out to a place that cares for abused and abandoned babies, Hannah’s Place of Safety. They handed over donations from the congregation, including 20 jerseys knitted by one of the senior sisters, especially for babies, premature to 1 year old. These will provide warmth during the cold weather.
The young people experienced another world to which they were not exposed to and have now also been sensitized to be sympathetic and display empathy towards babies that are entirely deprived of love, care and affection, as well as the basic necessities of life.
