On Monday, 16 November 2020, Apostle R Worship conducted a divine service for ministers of the Cape Central Apostle Area which was audio visually transmitted from Lavistown.
The divine service was transmitted to 16 venues across the Cape Central Apostle Area.
The Apostle commenced the divine service by conveying the District Apostle’s greetings and thanks to the brothers for their labours and care for their members during a difficult year.
The Apostle’s sermon is summarised with the following focus for 2021:
1. Being more than a title bearer, employing the vested gifts and talents in the exercise of each ministerial mandate.
2. Becoming more spiritually minded focussing on the things which contribute to the salvation of the congregation.
3. Growing in humility where Christ takes the centre of all church activities.
After the divine service, the Apostle announced that Bishop C Classen will be placed into retirement in December. Several Rector changes across the area were also announced.
