Apostle R Worship served the congregation of Silvertown on Sunday, 29 November 2020, ushering in the first Advent divine service for the new church year.
He based the sermon on the Bible word taken from Jeremiah 23:5; “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the] earth."
After the celebration of Holy Communion, the congregation witnessed the retirement of Shepherd Ashwell Scholtz who served in the ministry for over 40 years. Apostle Worship thanked him for all his sacrifices and wished him and his family well with their future endeavours.
After the closing anthem, the Apostle wished the congregation well for the upcoming festive period as a blessed hour in the house of the Lord came to a close.
