On Thursday, 18 February 2021, Apostle Robert Worship conducted a special divine service in

Lavistown in which Confirmands of the area received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

As basis for the divine service, the Apostle read a Bible word from Job 32:6, 7 & 10, "So Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, answered and said: ‘I am young in years, and you are very old; therefore I was afraid, and dared not declare my opinion to you. I said, Age should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’ Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me, I also will declare my opinion.’"

The Apostle reminded the Confirmands that although they were young in age, like Elihu, it was time for them to declare their opinion of the Lord. “Each of you are Elihus of our time,” said the Apostle before providing three ways in which they could serve God like an Elihu.

Firstly, respect your elders (your parents and those whom God place before us). Secondly, see things like God sees them. And thirdly, continually emphasise the greatness of God.

Those sealed during the divine service will receive their Confirmation blessing from  Sunday, 14 March 2021.
