Our children prepared for months in anticipation for the visit of Chief Apostle to our country for a special divine service for them.

Many were very excited to learn to play the recorder - a talent which has become a blessing to all the congregations. The service was audio-visually transmitted from Cape Town on 11 May 2019. The children of the Queenstown District gathered in Ezibeleni Congregation. They arrived early to enjoy fellowship with one another. The children were served with a boerewors roll and cold drink before the service commenced at 15:00.

During the service the children felt very much part of the congregation where our Chief Apostle served, since our local children joined in the singing and playing of the recorders, along with the children in the Bishop Lavis Congregation. Bishop WN von Schaeffer also joined in the playing of the recorders. The children were captivated by the serving of our Chief Apostle as it was very interactive.

After the service the children received a packet filled with treats to take home. Children and ministers alike were treated to a very blessed encounter with our Heavenly Father and all pray that these moments will remain a source of joy for our children into the future.
