On Thursday 11 July 2019, the Sunday School teachers of the Cape Coastal Apostle Area attended

a divine service conducted by Apostle Peter Lambert at Tafelsig.

The Bible word for the service was Galatians 6, verse 9: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

They awaited the blessing with much anticipation and enthusiasm, as this was the first divine service for the Apostle area after the restructure, and the atmosphere in the congregation was electrifying. There was complete oneness between the choir and the choir leader, and the beautiful singing set the tone.

Through the sermon they heard that any skilled teacher can present a good lesson, but only a true witness of Christ can impact the hearts and souls of our children. A witness does not merely convey lesson content, but speaks out of faith and life in Christ.  Doing good means to persevere in fulfilling the demands of being a good Sunday School teacher, while knowing that only God can give growth and success.
