Sister Eileen Elias of Cloetesville Congregation volunteered to teach the Grade R children of
Abbasorg the recorder twice a week. Masakhe kindly donated the first 10 recorders. On Tuesday 2 April 2019, the recorders were handed over to the excited, overjoyed and enthusiastic children.
Abbasorg, a registered Early Childhood Development care facility has now raised funds to buy a further 12 recorder sets and even the educators are queuing to start learning the recorder. They do great work daily among disadvantaged children and aim to create a safe environment where children can receive quality education and care.
