The visit of the District Apostle J Kriel to Botswana orchestrated great excitement and joy amongst the children of God.

It was the first divine service he was conducting in the country and marked his three months as District Apostle for the new NACSA, with the amalgamation of NACSEA and NACCAPE District Churches.

The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostles A Page and PS Liwakala. Apostle Page, who had been serving Botswana after the retirement of Apostle M Dimba in February 2016, came to bid farewell to God’s children. Consequently, the Apostle PS Liwakala was introduced by the District Apostle as the new Apostle who would be serving Botswana and Namibia respectively.

The visit started with a divine service in Francistown on Saturday 18 March 2017. The Bible word for the service was taken from Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” About 200 souls attended the service.

The District Apostle, together with the two Apostles and Bishop S Musowoya travelled about 430km from Francistown to Gaborone, the capital city of the country, on Saturday after the divine service.

On Sunday 19 March 2017, another divine service was scheduled in the Gaborone Central church. A total of 332 souls attended the divine service. The Bible word used for this occasion was taken from Isaiah 41:13-14, “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,’ says the Lord And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.”

After the divine service, much joy and excitement could be felt among members and guests; especially the youth who showed much interest to be at the youth convention on 18 February 2018 in Cape Town. The District Apostle and Apostles mingled and had photos taken with those in attendance.
