On Saturday, 04 May 2019, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a divine service in Hawston.

The members of Caledon, Hermanus, Botrivier, Kleinmond, Breeville, Ganadendal, Gansbaai, Greyton and Stanford were also invited to attend the service.

Apostle A Kriel was called to serve along after which the children rendered an item on their recorders.

The atmosphere in the congregation was of mixed emotions. The presence of District Apostle was of great joy to the congregants but at the same time, it was the last divine service of the Apostle Kriel in the area under his care.  He will be placed into retirement on Sunday 12 May 2019.

On Sunday 05 May 2019, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a divine service in Bredasdorp.

The congregations of Struisbaai and Napier were also invited to attend the service.

The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostle A Kriel and Bishops J Cook and L Ravell.

The Bible word which served as a basis for the divine service was taken out of Philippians 4:4.

After the divine service, the District Apostle enjoyed fellowship with all active and retired ministers from the area.
