District Apostle John Kriel arrived at Seretse Khama Airport in Gaborone at 14h30 on 4 July 2019.
He was accompanied by Apostle Peter Lambert from Cape Town. At the airport, he was welcomed by Apostle Patrick Liwakala and Bishop Simeon Musowoya.
A divine service was scheduled for 18h00 in Mochudi, a village located some 50km north-east of Gaborone. The members portrayed great joy and excitement as they welcomed the District Apostle. It was the first time that a District Apostle had been to the congregation. For the sermon, District Apostle used 2 Timothy 2:1 – “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
Apostle Lambert was called to serve along.
There were a number of members in attendance, as well as a few visitors. The Ward Councillor for Mochudi was also present.
