District Apostle J Kriel arrived at Walvis Bay International Airport, Namibia on Saturday, 13 July 2019 at 12h45.
Walvis Bay is an industrialised city on the Atlantic Ocean situated slightly over 300km west of the capital Windhoek. There are three New Apostolic congregations in this coastal city.
The District Apostle was welcomed by Apostle Liwakala, Bishop Masule and District Elder A Taylor. Immediately after leaving the airport, the group went straight to meet the brothers for a meeting. There were four different meetings scheduled on the day. This included meetings for ministers, Rectors, music leaders and the Local Organising Committee. The District Apostle used the meetings to fine-tune the preparations for the visit of the Chief Apostle in December 2019. All the members in the Namibia Apostle Area have been invited to attend the service.
On Sunday 14 July, the District Apostle served the congregation of Walvis Bay. The Bible word for the sermon was Philippians 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Apostle Liwakala and Bishop Masule were called to serve along.
The congregation has an adjacent building where those in attendance were connected audio-visually. After the service, all members were invited to enjoy some fellowship with the District Apostle.
