The next stop on the journey through the Nampula province took the District Apostle to Ribaue in the west.

On Saturday, 27 July 2019, the waiting congregations of the Ribaue region gathered in a structure they had erected for the divine service. A Bible word from Exodus 15:2 served as the basis for the divine service - “The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”

The word was the most fitting choice, as the District Apostle needed to overcome an obstacle when a coal-carrying train blocked the path to the structure where the divine service was held. After considering the options, the District Apostle made his way around the last carriage. Apostles Kalako, Cinco-Reis & Malyanga were called to serve along.

In discussions after the divine service, he discovered that some members travelled twelve hours to be part of the divine service.

A meeting for the Rectors and District Rectors ensued allowing the brothers to interact with the District Apostle. Bishop van Wyk (ret.) presented the progress on membership and attendance reporting of the region.
