Nyamazane is a place with a very small population in the province of Mpumalanga, the place of the rising sun.
On 26 January 2020, the Nyamazane ministers and wives, including the following districts: Nkomazi East, Nkomazi West, Mgwenya, Pienaar, Kabokweni North, Kabokweni South, Nelspruit, Legogote, Bushbuckridge and Limpopo, waited in eager anticipation in Nyamazane congregation for the arrival of District Apostle J Kriel. He was accompanied by District Apostle Helper M Mkhwanazi, Apostles S Mogane, A Page, J Joubert and L Meyer as well as Bishops J Milazi, J Mabaso, V Ndubane and various local district leaders. The divine service was audio-visually transmitted to various congregations around the region. The normal Sunday divine service took place on Saturday so that all ministers could attend the service conducted by the District Apostle.
The Bible word which served as the basis of the divine service was taken out of 2nd Timothy 1, a portion of verse 9: “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace”. The District Apostle used the opportunity to thank the servants for their sacrifices and thanked the wives for their support.
In his sermon, the District Apostle emphasized that the servants have been called by our Lord Jesus Christ, and that be embedded in their souls. Servants should prepare the Bride of Christ for his return, by baptizing, sealing, serving Holy Communion and proclaiming the gospel. God has given the servants the holy calling as well as strength and authority to proclaim the gospel and to dispense the sacraments.
Apostle S Mogane and District Elder E Bhana stood as proxies when the District Apostle served Holy Communion to the souls in yonder world. A beautiful musical rendition by the male choir followed thereafter.
The service was then concluded with the hymn “The Lord is my Light”. It was a blessed service and without a doubt, the ministers and all who were part of the service were revived and spiritually uplifted.
