A festive congregation eagerly awaited the visit of District Apostle J Kriel after it was announced two months ago.
This divine service, which took place on Saturday, 29 May, was an immensely special occasion for the congregation of Homevale. The anticipation for the Lord's blessing was perceptible as the congregants assembled. With the current Covid-19 regulations, it was not possible to accommodate all the members who wanted to attend the divine service. For this reason, a tent was lifted outside the church building to provide sufficient space for all members to attend.
As a basis for this divine encounter, the District Apostle used a Bible word taken from Luke 19: 9a, ‘Salvation has come to this house."
All too soon this Saturday afternoon spent in the house of God came to an end and the congregants left with much thankfulness in their hearts.
