On Sunday 10 October 2021, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a festive divine service in Worcester South congregation.
The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of Mark 10:13-14, “Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.’”
The District Apostle encouraged the members to contribute more towards the children’s faith, joy and peace. He also urged the members to keep them safe from all evil onslaughts and abuse.
Bishop J Cook and the local Rector, Priest J Beyers, stood as proxies for the serving of Holy Communion for the departed.
These blessed moments brought much joy to all in attendance.
